Zachary Gidlund is a 4400. Following the promicin-inhibitor crisis, Zachary and many others believed the 4400 needed protection for their mission to save the world from the Catastrophe, but due to his lack of courage, he didn't actively participate in anti-government events. Eventually, Jane Nance recruited Zachary in the Nova Group, and he served the group loyally until NTAC began hunting for Nova leader Daniel Armand after he used his ability to cause Shawn Farrell to go insane. Zachary cracked under the pressure of hiding from the government and left the group, coming to Richard Tyler with information on Jane. After Richard left to inform NTAC, his daughter, Isabelle Tyler, arrived and "convinced" Zachary to tell her the same information, which she used to hunt down and kill Jane for information leading to Armand.
