The Science of Promicin

Promicin interacts with a person's natural brainwide neurotransmitters, neuroelectrical pulses and the neuronal wiring in their cerebellum to cause the brain to create a special electromagnetic field that exist as a semi-sentient energy-based lifeform. The lifeform takes form as an inconspicuous energy pattern linked to the natural electromagnetic field of a person's body. Since the EM field lifeform permiates a person's entire body, it innately possesses an intrinsic understanding of all aspects of physiology (including DNA) to a degree that is beyond human comprehension. The semi-sentience of the EM field is tied into a person's own consciousness and as a result, its actions are based on the person's subconscious will. Because of this connection, the EM field takes signals from a promicin-positive's psyche, as well as their individual genetic structure, stress hormones, and immune system messengers to alter the person's physiology in a way that imbues them with a superhuman ability that might be useful to that particular promicin-positive in their daily life. As a result, every person develops a relatively unique superhuman ability after taking promicin and that ability is actually connected to their personality along with their inherent physiology and environment (both natural and social).

Leech

Jimmy Leech is a promicin-positive who possesses a bio-electrical "suppressant field", which causes him to temporarily neutralize the special powers of promicin-positives in close proximity to him. When Leech's suppressant field interacts with the EM field lifeform of another promicin-positive, an electronic digital information signal compels the other promicin-positive's EM field lifeform to modify the promicin-positive's physiology to as it was without the superhuman ability. Therefore, taking away the promicin-positive's ability. Once that promicin-positive leaves the suppressant field's radius, the promicin-positive's EM field lifeform will instinctively remodify his or her physiology and therefore restore their superhuman ability. Leech may condense the suppressant field within inches of his body with great concentration. The furthest he is able to project this field is up to a radius of 30 feet.

Everett Thomas

Everett Thomas is a promicin-positive who possesses a bio-electrical "synchronization aura", which allows him to duplicate promicin-induced powers. When Everett's synchronization aura interacts with the EM field lifeform of another promicin-positive, an information transfer instantaneously gives Everett's own EM field lifeform a fundamental understanding of the physical base of the other promicin-positive's superhuman ability. The EM field lifeform then briefly modifies Everett's physiology to possess that ability. This temporarily gives Everett the ability of a promicin-positive that is in close proximity to him. The powers Everett "synchronizes" with will fade some time after the promicin-positive he is "in synch" with leaves his vicinity.
