I guess I'll put this here. A new member, Tdonaldson7 has copied a great deal of information (mostly Memorable Quotes) from IMDB. He has also added a list of the actors who starred in the Pilot to that article. I feel that all of this is un-necessary and I would like to revert the articles. Personally, I feel that quotes are essentially trivial unless they are auxillaries of the main text. Also, all of the recently added quotes were selected and copied from another site. --The Radio Star 00:40, 1 January 2007 (EST)
- He is also adding every episode a character has appeared in on their pages. He's literally copying episode credits and quotes from IMDB to pages here. Do we really need episode credits here? Especially on very long episode pages? I really want to here everyone else's thoughts on this, and soon. --The Radio Star 13:23, 1 January 2007 (EST)
- I belive that the cast lists should be removed as people can work out for themselves by following the links who plays who. As for the quotes i think that they should also be removed since they make pages bigger as does the cast and the list of apperances. --Jordan C 19:03, 1 January 2007
- I don't think we need cast lists either. Memorable quotes can be ummm cool - but no need to overdo it. --GeoMike 21:28, 1 January 2007 (EST)
[edit] The New Season
Where have all the current 4400s gone? Richard? There's plenty of 4400s we don't know about. We know Kevin went to look for Tess, is that a way of writing him out for awhile? Is this season only about the "extra crispies"? --GeoMike 12:46, 11 July 2007 (EDT)
[edit] Pittsburgh
On several occasions I've noticed that in an episode they mention places that don't exist in Seattle, but do exist in Pittsburgh. For example, in episode 3 of season 4, Cassie tells Kyle to meet her at the intersection of Forbes and Shady. There is no such intersection in Seattle, but that's a major intersection in the Squirrel hill neighborhood of Pittsburgh. I think I remember that in another episode (though I don't remember which) someone mentions Schenley park - I can't find any reference to this being a park in Seattle, but there is one in Pittsburgh. I've noticed Pittsburgh places several other times as well, but I just figured they were also places in Seattle until it happened enough for me to investigate.
Has anyone else noticed additional Pittsburgh references? Perhaps one of the writers is from Pittsburgh. If we can collect a few others, maybe this belongs on a trivia page somewhere. --Zarvok 16:53, 26 July 2007 (EDT)
- Maybe it's a writer's subtle way of paying homage to his hometown? --Vigilyn 06:43, 27 July 2007 (EDT)
- Yeah, that's my guess. I wonder how many pittsburgh places are mentioned. --Zarvok 11:21, 27 July 2007 (EDT)
- Early in Season 2, Garrity said "so Collier expects some guy punching a clock in Pittsburg to think he's go some latent superpower?" Did you mean Bradley Park instead of Schenley Park? --The Radio Star 16:09, 27 July 2007 (EDT)
- Hmm, good one, I didn't remember that Garrity quote. No, I don't know of a bradley park in Pittsburgh, so I don't think that's it. I think it was just a passing reference, not a place we actually saw. It's possible I'm misremembering though - it could be some other Pittsburgh park. --Zarvok 17:09, 27 July 2007 (EDT)
- Aha! Our guesses were right, see this newspaper article --Zarvok 17:13, 27 July 2007 (EDT)
- That looks like a good link for our Seattle page. --The Radio Star 17:17, 28 July 2007 (EDT)
