Telekinesis
From The 4400 Wiki, a fan encyclopedia that anyone can edit.
Telekinesis is a promicin-induced ability that allows its user to move animate or inanimate objects with the power of concentrated thoughts.
If users of this ability are unable to control this ability, suffer nosebleeds and headaches, and they produce enough telekinetic energy to shake a building to its foundations or shatter human skulls. However, to those with a measure of control, yet inexperience, can move inanimate objects, such as paper wads, across the room with poor accuracy, though with help, can improve accuracy and speed of activation, e.g. shooting kitchen knives across a room with deadly accuracy and precision. Eventually, a user could use this ability so effectively, they could momentarily stop the flow of blood to a human brain (albeit requiring several seconds of uninterrupted concentration), stop bullets and tranquilizer darts in mid-air, or be powerful enough to throw multiple fully-grown men across a space of hundreds of feet, and to lift concrete barriers and throw them at a specific aerial target with pin-point accuracy.
This ability is limited in some way, as it can only be focused in one direction, and multiple-area assaults on the user will eventually allow the user to be incapacitated. This ability is the most wide-spread amongst people with promicin in their systems.
4400's Orson Bailey, Richard Tyler have this ability, and so does Promicin Positive Kathy Weir and super-being Isabelle Tyler.
