"It is a binding protein-that is, it binds itself to promicin in the body and neutralizes it. However, if there is no promicin for it to bind to, it remains in the body. Eventually, it builds up to toxic levels in the lymph nodes, damaging the immune systen. This leaves one prey to opportunistic, eventually fatal, infections-chemically induced AIDS." What's the source for this? Did Dr. Burhoff say all of this as it is written here? --The Radio Star 09:58, 22 November 2006 (EST)

[edit] Problems with the inhibitor

They said that they gave the inhibitor to the 4400 everytime they went to NTAC Medical for a check-up. Richard and Lily left for months and never checked in. They should have both developed abilities during that time. --The Radio Star 10:12, 22 November 2006 (EST)
