One big question I've always had about the show as when these PFTF were from. The offical site gives "hundreds of thousands of years," and until we have a reason to believe otherwise the article must state that, but that doesn't seem right. I don't think the downfall of humanity would take nearly that long. When Jordan Collier returned, he said he had seen the Catastrophe and had been alive for "hundreds, maybe thousands of years." However, also note that these people can project alterative realities which seem to take much longer than they really do (Alana). I believe that at most, the PFTF are a couple of thousand years away.
