X-Men equivalent = Avalanche

The comment was made in the article that Orson couldn't control his powers very well. This occured with all 4400s with abilities (and if you look at mutant power folklore, it is a common reoccuring theme). Control comes with practice or training. Maia struggled with her powers and it is why she keeps the journal; this allows her focus. We also have to figure strong emotions would make power control difficult. This happens to anyone who has to control something consciously: accents, languages, powers, pain, etc. Strong emotions make control impossible since strong emotions are almost a lack of control themselves . . . just a thought. --Caroline 14:32, 9 September 2006 (EDT)

The bottom of Orson's page says the he was one of the 4400's that was feared as well as Maia Shawn and Richard. Why was Richard feared? He hadn't developed any ability. --GeoMike 13:28, 12 December 2006 (EST)
