Since he was selected by the future to be abducted, I'm pretty sure he'll get an ability from the promicin rather than die. But hey, that would be a great way to get rid of his character once and for all? I'm sure Chad Faust has better roles to play. The Radio Star 16:36, 3 October 2006 (EDT)

"While merely speculation, it is possible that the life force manipulation ability that was given to Shawn was originally intended for Kyle. Along with his father’s still unknown role in the 4400’s purpose, this would have made the Baldwin family instrumental."
Speculation is better for Talk pages than articles. Also, in White Light it was revealed that his power was going to be communication between the present and future. The Radio Star 15:49, 4 October 2006 (EDT)

The first phrase I thought of last Sunday when they showed Kyle finding Isabelle was - "Sleeping with the Enemy". So what does he do this Sunday, call Shawn a traitor. Well who is the traitor really? Kyle for hiding the fugitive! I'd tell Shawn if I could LOL --GeoMike 22:19, 8 July 2007 (EDT)

This is the full confession, as far as I can make out from the shot of the pad seen in "Mommy's Bosses".
"I Confess to the Murder of Jordan Collier
I Kyle Baldwin, being of sound mind do of my own free will, and without coercion, enhancement or inducement other than my desire to find personal peace with myself, admit that I shot Jordan Collier.
In reality, I could remember nothing of what I had done. The Future People programmed me to do it. I was in a coma for a while after my cousin Shawn Farrell was abducted from Highland Beach Washington on April 22 2001. Ever since I awoke from my coma, I have experienced blackouts and periods of missing time. During this time I was going out and buying a rifle, ammunition, and the necessary supplies.
I did not believe that I'd committed... crime until recently when I... have flashbacks, being... watching Collier... way the... how..."
