Doug is Michael Lawrence's dad.

The connection was never made on Michael Lawrence's page for a relative and no information was put on Doug's page so that's why noone knew he was.--GeoMike 06:35, 23 October 2006 (EDT)

I saw the name on IMDB somewhere, probably at a time when I was doing a bunch of things at once, so I created this page and planned to fill it in later. However, I cannot currently find any mention of a "Doug Lawrence" anywhere on an IMDB 4400 page. If he is Michael Lawrence's father (Michael never appeared on screen), he should have been mentioned on the IMDB page for Terrible Swift Sword, but I was unable to find him there. --The Radio Star 17:18, 23 October 2006 (EDT)

I was expecting the deleted scene to be quit different from what the transcript gave. I was expecting it to be Jordan Collier trying to convince Doug that he need Matthew to use his ability to save the future, and Doug would be reluctant to let his son turn into a felon. --The Radio Star 15:59, 10 November 2006 (EST)
