Seattle is a city located in the U.S. state of Washington, in the pacific northwest of the United States. It is the setting for the 4400 series, and where they were all returned. It remained a mystery for a long time why the 4400 were returned to Seattle, but it was explained in the Starzl Mutation. Other information, such as the death of Adam Kensington and the clean-up of Bradley Park suggest that Seattle is definitely the intended homeland for the 4400. Many of the 4400 were originally from Seattle and surrounding areas.

Many places mentioned in 4400 episodes as locations within Seattle are actually locations in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. Craig Sweeny, one of the show's writers, is originally from Pittsburgh, and inserts places from his hometown into the scripts. [1]

By the end of season 4 Jordon had taken all of Seattle as his own.
