Reverend Josiah argued with a storekeeper because he was selling Collier's book, 4400 and Counting. He called Isabelle an "abomination and the devil". He distributed anti-4400 flyers.
He and his two sons chased Richard, Lily, and Isabelle in Wake-Up Call. Isabelle made him use his shotgun to kill one of his sons, then gave him a heart attack.
