Peter Barton works for Anexxo corporation as Vice President of client relations. He meets April at a Hotel bar and eventually she gets him to tell her about a bribery he is going to do on behalf of his company. Peter believes that the $300,000 are meant for Alex Lupone to "look the other way". April and her boyfriend Colin blackmail him for 20% of this money, but Peter informs the company and his orders are not to be at his room when Colin arrives to collect the money. After Colin's death, Tom, Diana and April question Peter and they learn that Anexxo won a contract to produce a new body armor for the military. The armor has some flaws so the company decided to bribe Alex. The man who is behind Colin's death and the bribery is Donald Mitchel. When the three of them find and question Donald we learn that the truth is differs than what Peter knows.

Peter seems very unhappy being forced to tell the truth. The second time he meets April and after she uses her ability one more time on him, he decides to tell everything he knows willingly. It seems that if he is going to take the fall, it is going to be his own decision and by his own terms.
