P.J. was a worker at NTAC's Theory Room and worked alongside Brady Wingate under Marco Pacella's leadership.

P.J. was initially loyal to the team and to NTAC, but when promicin was distributed by Jordan Collier to the world, he was tempted enough to take it, as he wanted to be part of the changes rapidly happening to the world, such as scientifically, culturally, religiously etc. P.J. discovered his ability was to create hallucinogenic scenarios (which he insisted were "games"), and used it to bring people together from opposite sides of a social/political spectrum.

Two months after taking the shot, P.J. used his ability to make Tom Baldwin, Diana Skouris, Collier, Shawn Farrell, Kyle Baldwin, Isabelle Tyler, Maia Skouris, Meghan Doyle, Marco and Brady appear in a disaster-like scenario at NTAC Seattle Headquarters. Though initially feigning amnesia, like the others, he was content to let the results of the game unfold. But when the "players" started dying (which was apparently not supposed to happen), P.J. was frightened into revealing his ability and under his direction, help find the "back-door" of the scenario and end the game. P.J., as he was arrested by agents mere hours later for taking the illegal substance, believed he had accomplished something worthwhile and went to jail peacefully. This claim was later supported as Collier and Tom both shared a spiritual bond from working together, despite still being on opposing sides of the conflict.
