[edit] Overview
Naomi Bonderman is one of the 4400. An oily substance she secretes from her hands causes those affected to hallucinate figures from their past to whom they have been attached. When Tom and Diana recieved baskets of cookies laced with the drug, they suspected a deliberate terrorist attack, and discovered that the drug, "blink", was being circulated as a recreational drug among local teenagers. After tracing the substance to Naomi, it was found that it was her grandson who was circulating the drug, and that he had sent to to Tom and Diana as a gift (rather than a curse) as a thank-you for saving his grandmother's life (see Mommy's Bosses). Despite his good intentions, he was taken into custody, although it is unclear whether or not he was charged.
[edit] Purpose
Blink could be used as a psychotherapeutic medication, to help the patients confront their pasts and finally move on.
