The National Threat Assessment Command (NTAC) is a law-enforcement agency and independant division of the Department of Homeland Security.

The agency formed following the return of the 4400, with its primary purpose to be investigating the returnees and discover what happened to them.

NTAC has a total of 300 active personnel, and is led by a group of several high-ranking government officials led by Rebecca Parrish. The agency is led by a Regional Director, which is currently Meghan Doyle. NTAC has a large amount of control over civil authorities, and can investigate criminal activity among the 4400, and maintaining contact with 4400. All NTAC officials carry ID Badges for proof of their identity, and are thus considered federal law enforcement officials, who have the authority to arrest, detain and interrogate suspects.
