Liv was a homeless girl who Shawn befriended in the middle of the second season. He met her at a 4400 Center press conference held in a local park while she was stealing food with a friend. Shawn stopped the security from taking them away since the food was free anyway. Later that night he found her among her other homeless friends and brought pizzas for all. He was very kind to all of them, buying clothes for them and a guitar for Liv. Shawn and Liv started to have feelings for each other and met frequently till one night her boyfriend arrives. Liv's boyfriend had an OD that night and this way revealed his ability to everybody, despite Collier's warnings. The next day everybody showed up at the 4400 center for healing. Shawn refused but offered Liv a way to get away from drugs and homeless life as a first key. She even became second key. Although Liv likes Shawn, his obligations grew them apart. Later she starts dating Danny. After an incident with both of them, with some pills and using one of the psychological machines she became first key again.
