Kavan Smith is the actor who plays Agent Garrity on the 4400.

He is also known as Major Evan Lorne on Stargate. According to IMDB, "his character, Major Lorne, on "Stargate SG-1" (1997) was only intended on being used in one episode. The character wasn't seen for quite some time, but then the character returned in the show's spin-off "Stargate: Atlantis" (2004), and Smith soon became a frequent guest." He has also appeared on five episodes of The Outer Limits: The New Series.
