Jenni Baird is an Australian actress who portrays Meghan Doyle, the director of NTAC-Seattle.
Baird was initially meant to be introduced to American audiences as Dr. Katrina Finch in Global Frequency. However, the pilot was dropped and WB merged with UPN to form CW. The pilot, based on a comic book by Warren Ellis followed a group of 1001 specialists who operated outside of any government agency. The pilot for GF leaked anyway and has become an example of the changing mediums of modern television and the internet.
The treatment of Global Frequency is still belittled across the internet, however entities like the Sci Fi Channel and USA have learned to work alongside these changing trends by involving the internet.
