Greg Venner was a student of Heather Tobey. Because of his father, Frank Venner, Greg had low self-esteem. He was surrounded by students that his teacher, who is a 4400, helped bring out any special skills or talents they had. His teacher's ability didn't work with Greg and this upset him. He brought a gun to school, but thanks to his dad he was talked into not using it.
