Episode talk:The Great Leap Forward

The real Great Leap Forward was a disasterous attempt to modernize China resulting in the deaths of millions of people. I guess they're trying to hint at something with that title. --The Radio Star 20:39, 8 August 2007 (EDT) After One of Us it sounds like I might be right. --The Radio Star 15:41, 20 August 2007 (EDT)

[edit] Series Finale?

I take it that since Isabelle was killed and Seattle is under Collier's control that was the series finale. --The Radio Star 16:47, 17 September 2007 (EDT)

Yes, UPN advertised it as the series finale. --GeoMike 23:10, 17 September 2007 (EDT)

Sorry I misread your question. It was aired as the season finale, not 100% sure it was the series finale. --GeoMike 20:46, 18 September 2007 (EDT)

Good. Did you mean USA? I think it would have been better if they had just ended it after the third season. Fifty/Fifty would have made a better series finale than the Great Leap Forward. Towards the middle of this season there was some excitement, but it ended with a whimper instead of a bang. There were also a lot of holes this season. Like the plot of Shawn running for office, with vanished after a few episodes. And Tom gets implanted but doesn't do anything other than get a CAT scan to see if he's marked? That was out of character. And they put Isabelle and Kyle together, two characters who previously had nothing to do with each other. Nice fixing of missing connections, but it didn't feel right.--The Radio Star 17:28, 18 September 2007 (EDT)
Yes USA network, sorry. I don't have high hopes for a season 5. I went to DragonCon in Atlanta, there were several Heroes talks, no 4400 talks. One comment was that Heroes is 4400 with ratings. I anxiously awaited each episode of Heroes. --GeoMike 18:36, 18 September 2007 (EDT)
I have a class on Monday nights. Blast. I guess I could tape a couple of episodes. --The Radio Star 20:12, 18 September 2007 (EDT)
If you lived closer I'd let you borrow Season 1 on DVD :) --GeoMike 20:44, 18 September 2007 (EDT)
I have a friend who can rent any movie/DVD set from college for free, but he can only keep them for three or four days. He's said that we should watch Stargate sometimes, but so far he's only rented movies. And I have way too many DVD sets already, so I have to be careful with what I buy. --The Radio Star 15:44, 19 September 2007 (EDT)
I just bought the sci-fi series Taken on DVD, now I just have to find time to sit down and watch the mini-series. Remembering back, I was mesmerized to the TV every night it was shown during its original run on the SciFi channel. --GeoMike 21:25, 26 October 2007 (EDT)
