[edit] Synopsis

Tom, Diana, Jordan, Shawn, Kyle, Isabelle, Maia, Meghan, Marco, PJ and Brady all wake up inside NTAC without any memory of how they got there. Trapped inside the building, the group must put aside their differences and work together to find a way out... But two will not survive the ordeal.[1]

[edit] Plot

P.J. took the promicin shot 2 months ago and had developed an ability. This ability first brought together his fiancee and mother, whom were having problems deciding on wedding arrangements into a game to "get to the church on time". His ability is to bring together people into a situation in which they would have to cooperate and work through to end the "game". He is always a player in the game.

He brought together his immediate co-workers Marco and Brady as well as NTAC agents Tom and Diana and their boss Meghan. He also brought players on the "other side of the field" that would have to cooperate with them Jordan, Kyle, Isabelle, and Shawn. After the players wake up into the game, Maia awakens and shows up as a player.

The NTAC agents think that they are under attack from an outside force, a 4400 or promicin-positive individual(s). Jordan and the others think they have been brought to the building by members of NTAC.

Meghan and Tom venture off to the "Weapons locker". The electronic lock isn't working, but Meghan is able to hotwire the door to open. Once it opens, Tom enters but finds the locker is empty. The door closes immediately behind him. Meghan tries to hotwire the door to open again but is electrocuted. The door does open, Tom finds Meghan has died and brings her back to the area where the other NTAC personnel gathered.

Jordan finds Kyle, Isabelle and Shawn wandering a hallway. Jordan looks for other 4400s that should be in their "cells" (we seen Orson Bailey's cell) but the rooms are empty. While in one hallway they feel strong winds, interior glass windows start to shake then burst out into the hallway. Kyle is injured by the glass, Isabelle sees that Shawn took a direct hit and is covered in glass on his back and bleeding profusely. Jordan carries Shawn down to where the NTAC personnel have gathered and all of the players are in the same area now.

Tom starts arguing with Jordan, noone knows what is going on except for P.J. He finally admits that he is the one causing this or at least his ability is and he explains his ability. P.J. explains that their is a "back door" which would be the furthest exit from where he woke up and they decide that the building is the limits of the game. Tom, Jordan and P.J. venture off to a supply room on one of the bottom levels. P.J. opens the door but is closes as he starts to walk through, killing him and closing the back door. Tom and Jordan venture back up to the others.

Isabelle comes up with the idea of shutting down the power in the building, then the building wouldn't be able to kill them. Diana, Isabelle, and Marco are about to venture off to the "computer control" room when the "blast doors" close and the air is being sucked out of the room they are in. Collier and Tom arrive and see the blast door closed and are able to hell through and find out their plan.

Collier and Tom arrive in the computer control room and look for cables long enough to short out two control panels. They can't find a cable long enough and Jordan mentions that they "as people" can make the connection. They would have to sacrifice each other to use the short cable to short-circuit the panels and shut-down the building. They complete the connection.

Everyone wakes up where they orginally were sleeping (in Shawn's apartment, for example). They call each other to let them know they are ok (or as in Tom hugging Meghan when he found out she was really alive). Jordan calls Tom and tells him that his side is ok, even them seem a little more cordial toward each other. P.J. is incarcerated for taking promicin, he hopes that in the end it was worth it and everyone is, at least a little, closer together.
