While en-route to a camping site for their youth group, Duncan and Olivia were intercepted and captured by an agent of the future claiming to be Sarah Rutledge, as part of a plan to use them, and three other 4400 children to alter the timeline furthur to avoid The Catastrophe. However, Duncan and the others were freed when Tom Baldwin brokered a deal with "Sarah" for their release.
[edit] Alternate Future
In the timeline created from the children's abduction, Duncan and Olivia were sent to the year 1912, with no memories of their original identities but retained their abilities, and were adopted. Duncan and his adopted family were third-class passengers aboard the Titanic. When the ship began to sink, Duncan and Olivia used their power to slow the ship down, allowing all of the lifeboats to be filled to their maximum capacity and saving more people than in the original timeline. Duncan and Olivia were forced to remain on the ship to buy the passengers more time to escape and both drowned.
