[edit] Plot
Audrey Parker, an old woman who lives alone and suffers from arthritis, needs morphine shots to ease the pain. She gets help by a woman named Hanna who lives with her son Lucas. We hear Audrey's voice telling us her story about the old days and why she decided to try the promicin shots. Her ability is to astral project herself and watch everything in the form of her beautiful younger self. During one of her "trips" she sees a young artist, Vanessa Martin and her agent Philip Delacroix, who tries to take advantage of her. The narration's conclusion is that her life is much better now and she is happy she took the shot. All of the narration is her blog entry.
NTAC is watching the blog. Meghan Doyle orders Tom and Diana to find the blogger. Diana is opposed. Tom and Diana traced the IP address at the public library where they meet Audrey. She is volunteering there and she gives them the files of people that used the library's computers. She quotes a line about freedom and safety and Diana remembers its a Benjamin Franklin quote.
Shawn finds Heather Tobey and asks her to join him while he reopens the 4400 center. She agrees. Kyle sees Cassie again. She reveals to him that she is his guide and that he should "own" the prophecy book.
Audrey confronts Philip in person. She knows all about his past, the fake name and the arrest warrants in Texas and Florida. She threatens him to leave or she will call the police.
Tom updates Meghan but he sees her crying. She tells him that her father is dying of Huntington's disease for the last ten years and that DC refused her to use Shawn to cure him.
Diana returns home to find that Ben and Maia are back to Seattle. Next day, Tom and Diana read the new blog post and they find another Benjamin Franklin's quotation that leads them to suspect Audrey.
While Audrey is in one of her trips, her body dies. She returns to her house to find her dead body surrounded by the police, her nurse Hanna and Tom and Diana who found the evidence that she was the blogger. Tom and Diana believe that it was either an accident or a suicide to avoid prison since promicin and using abilities is against the law. Audrey's projection shouts that she was murdered and every device in the room gets crazy with static. The cause of death is morphine overdose.
Kyle goes back to the house with the memorabilia of the white light cult and steals the book.
Audrey's projection sees Philip leaving Vanessa and Seattle and she thinks that he killed him. Tom tells Diana that Audrey's death was accidental. Diana expresses her admiration for Audrey since she lead her life without any compromise. Audrey's projection shouts again she was murdered and the devices go crazy again.
Shawn with Heather by his side, tells the press that he will reopen the center to prove that not all 4400 are the resistance. He doesn't care if this is an illegal act.
Ben is worried that Diana is not focusing on her attempts to find April. They discuss about a voice message from Diana to Ben's cell phone that was all static. Diana gives the message to Marco to analyze it and the message was "murdered murdered murdered". Tom is skeptic but later they find Vanessa and they decide to track down Philip.
Tom and Meghan visit Shawn to convince him not to open the center without result. Diana interrogates Philip but his alibi is solid. The tape recorder she is using gets static interference again. Audrey's projection shouts one more time that he did it but this time she sees she is fading away. Marco analyzes the static but gets nothing. Since the projection is energy, eventually it will fade away. Tom tries to convince Diana to let go. It's not their case anymore, It's the police's.
Kyle reads the prophecy book. Cassie appears and he tells her he is not convinced yet. To believe her, she tells him to be at the intersection of Forbes and Shady at 2:00 AM. She will show him where it all starts. If he doesn't show up she will disappear forever.
Shawn with Heather go to reopen the center. Sick people are waiting for him to cure them. While trying to heal a sick girl, Shawn gets arrested. Tom appears and tries to convince the police to let him go. The police officer reports through the radio and gets the order to let Shawn go.
Audrey's projection visits Hanna. We learn that she left everything to her and while she goes to see her son Lucas she finds out that he murdered her. Diana talks with Ben about Audrey and at that moment her phone rings and the message on the answer machine is static. Lucas gets arrested and confesses. He wanted to steal Audrey's necklace and gave her one more shot only to make her sleep more.
Shawn is tired after all the healing and Heather says that he has more to do tomorrow. Tom walks in and asks him for one more healing. It's Meghan's father in a wheel chair. Shawn takes him to his office while Meghan tells Tom that since DC let the center reopen they "blinked" and if they want to fire her she doesn't care.
Diana and Ben listen to the radio Audrey's favorite song, "Dream a little dream". They hear static but this time Diana knows that is Audrey saying goodbye. We see her flying in the night saying "I'm ready" and she fades away. Kyle goes where Cassie told him and finds her there. They witness an accident between a car and a police mini van. The car leaves very fast and Kyle runs to the van. Inside, trying to escape, he sees Isabelle.
