April Skouris is the only sister of Diana and made her way as a professional body artist (but Diana kept referring it as a "tattooist"), and had several marriages, which never last more than a year. April has a very difficult relationship with Diana over April being inferior and worse-off than her.

While April was on her way to a body-art expo, she made a slight detour to visit her sister and new adoptive niece Maia. April and Maia instantly bonded (even with April being addressed as "Aunt April") and she helped liberate Maia from Diana's cruel restrictions by taking her out to see famous landmarks and going to entertainment centers, and even showing Maia her workplace (which led to her saving someone's life with her precognative abilities) much to Diana's frustration, but it generally improved the status of April's relationship with Diana as well as the one between Diana and Maia. Intrigued by her ability, and desperate short on money, April convinced Maia to make a small prediction on winning lottery tickets. Addicted, April became steadily greedier and even convinced Maia to use internet gambling on football games. Maia suspected April only cared about her for her ability, and tested her theory by deliberately by selecting the losing football team. This exposed April's selfishness, as she had pawned her mother's diamond engagement ring for more money. This angered Maia and Diana, and although Maia quickly forgave April as she knew she was truely sorry, Diana, having a history of cleaning up April's mistakes, ordered her out until she learned to grow up.

Many months later, April indeed re-appeared more mature and responsible, having moved to Seattle with her new boyfriend; Ben Saunders. Maia had a vision that Ben would eventually leave April and marry Diana. When Ben learned of this, it drove him to break up with April, leaving her heartbroken, and have an affair with Diana. While staying at Diana's apartment, April regularly pressured Maia to ask whether she and Ben would get back together, and eventually Maia confessed what she saw, April became near suicidal. Diana was able to partially-comfort April, who left the next day and was among the first to get one of the free promicin shots given out by Jordan Collier. After taking the shot, April survived and quickly gained the ability to get the truth from people - she asks them a question and they are compelled to answer with the truth.

While on the run from the government after promicin was decreed illegal and promicin-positive humans imprisoned for life, April met and fell in love with Colin McGrath, a con artist, who formed a partnership with her to use her ability to blackmail wealthy individuals for a share of their fortunes, and soon April was living a life of luxury. When Diana tracked her down, April was content to stay the way she was, but this ended when Colin was murdered because of their links to a large amount of bribe money. Teaming up with Diana and her partner; Tom Baldwin, she used her ability to expose the head of a large company as planning to sell defective products, corporate espionage and several assasination plots. Intrigued by her ability, the government decided not to arrest April, but instead made her an Agent at NTAC and part-time worker for the Attorney General's Office and Federal Bureau of Investigations, all the while using her ability on detainees while enjoying the job's perks; such as a lavish apartment, a large salary (and bonuses) and 24-hour bodyguard protection from NTAC Agent's Ralph and Eric. April is happy with this, and is finally getting along with her sister.
