The Anexxo Corporation is a a highly-powerful supplier and distributer of products and services that ranges into Energy, Communications and occasional Defense Work. It performed duties directly from the Pentagon, earned billions of dollars a year and was even in the Fortune 500. Unbeknownst except to its highest-ranking employees, the company, primarily at the urging of its CEO, Donald Mitchel, regularly engaged in illegal activities, such as bribery, corporate espionage and even assasination, to preserve the company's status within the eyes of its government supporters.

A new type of body armor was produced by Anexxo for the military, but it was poor-quality and had many subtle design flaws that made it effectively useless. When Alex Lupone threatened to expose Anexxo's mistake and Mitchel's efforts to supress it to the government, Mitchel paid his team of assasins, lead by Larry, $300,000 to kill Lupone while he was still on holiday in Brazil, meanwhile he gave Peter Barton the money to deliver to Larry, with false information on what the money was for. Unfortunately, Peter was intercepted by April Skouris, who discovered what the money was for. Fearing the plan would be exposed, Mitchel ordered Peter to leave the money in his room and not return and then ordered Larry to pick up the money from Peter's room, killing April's boyfriend Colin McGrath when he went to steal it. After failing to capture and kill April, Larry and his men then went to Brazil and out of communications with their employer.

NTAC Agents Tom Baldwin and Diana Skouris investigated Colin's murder, and soon discovered the truth behind Mitchel's activities and arrested him. Anexxo was most likely shut down after its mistakes were exposed to the government.
