McClenahan is an NTAC Agent and subordinate of Tom Baldwin, who was able to secure his post thanks to assistance from his father; Assistant Director Peter McClenahan.

During TJ Kim's terrorist attack on NTAC Headquarters, McClenahan was in an elevator when the initial "Rage Bomb" signal went off, and promptly tried to tear Agent Foster apart in a blind rage, but was stopped by Nina Jarvis. After Marco Pacella launched a counter-signal, McClenahan regained his lucidity and returned to duty.

McClenahan's father was later assasinated by the Nova Group for his involvement in Operation: Firewall's program to use the promicin-inhibitor to control the 4400.
