Ashmore was an agent at NTAC partnered with Jed Garrity. Ashmore worked during the chaotic times caused by the distribution of promicin to the world by Jordan Collier, and she was sent with Garrity by Regional Director Meghan Doyle on a variety of investigations, including into Richard Tyler's hiding place, the mysterious Marked, and ultimately the recent mysterious deaths at a Seattle hospital. Ashmore was the leading agent on scene, but later returned to give in her status report to Doyle. Unbeknownst to her, Ashmore had been contaminated with the "promicin-exposure virus", created by Danny Farrell, and accidently spread it to half the population of NTAC before dying in Garrity's arms. The weakening of NTAC left it unable to restrain order in Seattle, leaving it to fall into chaos and allow Collier to seize all of Seattle for Promise City.
